Everyone has a different idea of what “healthy” means.

For some, healthy weight means being model-thin, or below “overweight” on the BMI scale.  For others, weight doesn’t specifically play a part, it’s based on how they feel.  It could be based on energy, or looks, or how clothes fit, or shape.

And when it comes to healthy food, healthy could mean low in calories or fat, low in cholesterol, high in vitamins and minerals or antioxidants, free of processed foods, free of animal products, or any number of different qualities.

Some of us don’t give much thought as to what “healthy” means to us, but if mean to BE healthy, we should!
